Clarke Central Basketball set to play in Final Four this weekend

It’s a big weekend for one high school basketball team from Athens.

The Clarke Central Gladiators (25-6) will be playing in the state GHSA AAAAA Final Four against the Warner Robins Demons (25-3) on Saturday for a chance to play for the title. Tipoff is schedule for 8pm in Ft. Valley, Ga.

The Gladiators are coming off  big win over Stockbridge this week that advanced them to play in the state Final Four in Macon. A win would put the Gladiators into the State Championship game which would be played on March 7th against the winner of the Hiram Hornets (23-9) vs. the Miller Grove Wolverines (21-7) which takes place prior to Clarke Central’s game on Saturday.
