Ladd McConkey sets NFL rookie playoff record, continues incredible journey

ATHENS — Ladd McConkey set an NFL rookie record with his 197 receiving yards on the nine catches he made in the Los Angeles Chargers 31-12 playoff loss to Houston.

This, after setting a Chargers franchise record with 82 catches for 1,149 yards and seven touchdowns in the regular season.

“He just finds a way to make plays,” Los Angeles quarterback Justin Herbert said after the Chargers’ season-ending loss.

“He’s done such a great job competing all year. He’s a true ball player, and it was incredible to watch him play today.”
