The teams are set for Super Bowl 2025. It will once again be the Philadelphia Eagles taking on the reigning back-to-back champions the Kansas City Chiefs.

It may seem like a partial rerun of the 2023 Super Bowl when the two teams faced off at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on Feb. 12, 2023. That was the championship game that kicked off the possible record-breaking run for the Chiefs when KC beat Philly 38 to 35, according to ESPN.

Last year, the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers 25 to 22 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for a Lombardi Trophy repeat.

When and where is the game?

Feb. 9 at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

What time is kickoff?

Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m. ET, according to CNN. But there will be pregame festivities throughout the day, USA Today reported.

Who is playing?

Kansas City Chiefs (15-2) vs Philadelphia Eagles (14-3)

The Eagles beat the Washington Commanders on Sunday 55-23 while the Chiefs beat the Buffalo Bills 32-29, ESPN reported.

The Chiefs beat the Eagles in their last Super Bowl matchup when the Chiefs kicked a successful field goal with only eight seconds left in the game, CNN reported.

If the Chiefs win on Feb. 9, they will be the first team to have three consecutive Super Bowl wins, The Los Angeles Times reported. This is the fifth time they’ve been to the big game in six seasons. Of the four Super Bowls that they’ve played so far, the Chiefs only lost one against Tampa Bay and Tom Brady where the Buccaneers beat the Chiefs 31 to 9, according to ESPN.

The Eagles have been to the Super Bowl four times in the past and have a 2-2 record in the championship game, CBS News reported.

The Chiefs have been to the big game six times in the past and have a 4-2 record.

Who will win?

The Athletic’s NFL Projection Model has the Chiefs winning its third-in-a-row title with a slight edge 50.8% to 49.2% over the Eagles.

How much are tickets?

Be ready to pay a ton of money for tickets with the lowest price in the thousands of dollars, if you can even find them.

They can be purchased from a variety of sites, including Ticketmaster, OnLocation, VividSeats and SeatGeek.

SeatGeek’s lowest-priced ticket on Monday morning was $4,658 for a single ticket in section 604.

Two of Ticketmaster’s three options for tickets are already sold out. The only thing available as of Monday morning was its Touchdown Club Premier which includes a pregame party, dedicated seating for musical performances and NFL legend appearances and an open bar, chef-curated tailgate-inspired menu, A single ticket there started at $5,999 on Monday morning for section 651. The highest cost was $26,500 for section 142C.

OnLocation prices started at $6,600 for a single ticket and included “bucket list experiences” while VividSeats started at $4,520 for a single ticket in section 624 on Monday morning.

Who will perform?

The national anthem will be sung by Grammy and Academy winner Jon Batiste, The Los Angeles Times reported. Trombone Shorty and Lauren Daigle will perform “America the Beautiful” while Ledisi will perform “Let Every Voice Sing.”

Halftime will be headlined by Kendrick Lamar with an appearance by SZA. More artists may also appear.

Who will be the referees?

The Super Bowl referee crew will be led by Ronald Torbert who has been an official with the league since 2010, The Los Angeles Times reported. The side Judge will be Boris Cheek, the umpire will be Mike Morton and Max Causey and Mark Stewart will be the line judges. Mearl Robinson will be the field judge. Jonah Moore will be the back judge and Kevin Brown will be the replay official.
