Users on Twitter and Reddit posted images showing an email that appears to be from Amazon, saying Alexa will no longer link to any email addresses, and will not track packages from third-party vendors.

According to the images posted on social media, the changes go into effect on Nov. 8.

Amazon has not made any formal announcement about the change, but in a statement to TechHive, said, “We regularly evaluate the features and experiences available to customers and prioritize those that make customers’ lives easier and allow them to get the most out of their Alexa experience. As with everything we do, we will continue to evolve the experience based on customer feedback.”
