Women arrested on fraud, theft charges in Gainesville

A woman who worked at a church in Gainesville is accused of misusing the church credit card to the tune of more than $160,000: the Hall County Sheriff's Office says 36 year-old Stacy Richardson (pictured above) is facing theft charges after her arrest at her home in Gainesville.

A caregiver from Lula is booked into the Hall County jail after allegedly stealing $100,000 from a disabled woman: 40 year-old Amanda Jordan is free on bond after her arrest on charges that include exploitation of a disabled adult. Investigators in the Hall County Sheriff's Office say the thefts took place over a two-year period.
