Visit Athens is seeking nominations for its Annual Hospitality Awards. The Hospitality HEROES Award and Louis Griffith Hospitality Leadership Award recognize exceptional service and leadership in the local hospitality and tourism industry.

The first honor, The Hospitality HEROES Award, recognizes front-line service employees who provide exceptional service to visitors of Athens, GA. The second, The Louis Griffith Hospitality Leadership Award, acknowledges a management-level employee for their outstanding leadership in the local hospitality industry.

Athens residents and visitors are asked to help recognize dedicated hospitality professionals by completing the brief nomination form at https://www.visitathensga.com/about/hospitality-awards/, by Sunday, October 1. The winners will be announced at the CVB Annual Meeting on Thursday, October 26, at The Classic Center.

“Each year, we look forward to recognizing our incredible partners that play such a vital role in making Athens a welcoming destination to all,” says CVB Director Katie Williams. “The lodging, local shops, artists, restaurants, and attractions are central to our success, and these awards are an opportunity for us to honor the individuals whose hard work helps Athens meet and exceed our guests’ expectations.”
