UNG ranks high on Money magazine list

The University of North Georgia ranks third among Georgia public universities on Money magazine’s new Best Colleges for Your Money 2020 list. This is the second year in a row, and third time overall, that UNG has made the list.

“A quality educational experience, exceptional affordability and preparing students for success in a diverse and global society are hallmarks of UNG’s mission,” UNG President Bonita Jacobs said. “Our continued inclusion in national rankings lists such as Money’s Best Colleges for Your Money demonstrates how well the faculty and staff are preparing our students.”

The rankings include 739 colleges and universities from across the country.

“Going to college shouldn’t mean a lifetime of debt,” the magazine wrote in its introduction to the list. “To find the schools that successfully combine quality and affordability, Money weighed more than 20,000 data points, including tuition, fees, family borrowing, and career earnings.”
