UGA trains poll monitors

As early voting continues in Athens, the University of Georgia works to train poll monitors: a training session is set for 6 til 7:30 at UGA’s Hirsch Hall.

UGA Law's American Constitution Society invites those interested in volunteering as a poll monitor to learn more.

Volunteers assist voters at polling places around the state, ensuring that every eligible voter can successfully cast a ballot. They also serve as the “eyes and ears on the ground,” sounding the alarm and documenting problems if they occur.
