The University of Georgia’s spring plant sale is set for 2 til 6 today and 8 til 2 tomorrow at the State Botanical Garden on South Milledge Avenue in Athens.

The spring plant sale is a great way to get wonderful plants, receive expert advice and support the garden. Staff from both the horticulture and conservation departments will be at the plant sale, along with many Master Gardeners to help answer gardening questions and make recommendations for specific needs.
All proceeds from the April plant sale go directly to the operational costs of the horticulture department. It is with these profits that the State Botanical Garden purchases new plants to add to its collections, orders necessary supplies and hires part-time employees to help keep the gardens beautiful year-round.
