The UGA College of Pharmacy and Institute for Artificial Intelligence invite guests to attend the UGA Immersive Technology in the Health Professions Seminar.
Anne Bailey, PharmD, BCPS, and Caitlin Rawlins, MSN, RN, will share how the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs is using virtual and augmented reality solutions to enable a paradigm shift in delivery of care and the patient experience through their work at VA Immersive.
Following the seminar, participants will be provided lunch and engage in small group discussions about potential research collaborations in the use of immersive technology and artificial intelligence in patient care, health professions education, and patient advocacy and education. Our goal is to create meaningful collaborative endeavors across disciplines that lead to potential successful translational research and practice.
