Today marks the start of three days of activities marking the 50th anniversary of the University of Georgia’s Adult Education Program.

Friday, March 1 A special event with keynote speaker Tonya Cornileus (M.Ed. ’04, Ph.D. ’10), vice president of human resources at ESPN 5-8 p.m., UGA Gwinnett Campus, Lawrenceville

Saturday, March 2 ChaDAWGua* Breakfast, sessions, and celebration dinner 9 a.m.-7 p.m., UGA Hotel & Conference Center, Athens *Celebrating the spirit of the historic Chautauqua adult education movement that brought education, culture, entertainment, and speakers to adult learners across the United States in the late 19th and early 20th centuries
