A funeral for the man known as Catfish Jackson is set for tomorrow in Savannah: former Georgia Bulldog football player Kevin Jackson died last week at the age of 62. Jackson, who went on to become a successful businessman, was a member of the Bulldogs 1980 national championship team.

He was predeceased by : his parents, June Jackson and Richard Jackson of Carterville, Georgia.. He is survived by : his wife Libby; his children, Elizabeth (Tyler Sumner), Kev (Kate Jackson) and Mary Margaret (Thomas Cone); and his grandchildren, Jackson, Baker, Field, Trip, Sara Collins, Will and Luke. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Christ Church (28 Bull St, Savannah, GA 31401).
