The body of one man has been found; searchers in Lake Lanier were, at last report, trying to find another. The men are believed to have drowned in separate weekend incidents on the Lake in Hall County. Another man died after being electrocuted after jumping into Lake Lanier in Forsyth County. Thomas Milner was 24 years old.

The search continued Sunday for a swimmer who went missing Saturday in Lake Lanier.
According to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, a 27-year-old man was swimming from a boat, went underwater, and did not resurface.
Georgia game wardens and Hall County firefighters responded to reports of a drowning near Van Hugh Park.
The search resumed on Sunday.
A man is dead after officials say he jumped into Lake Lanier.
Georgia Department of Natural Resources officials told Channel 2 Action News on Thursday officials received word of a man who was shocked near Lanier Beach South Road in Forsyth County.
According to the investigation, a 24-year-old man, later identified as Thomas Miner jumped off a dock into the lake and was shocked by electricity in the water.
The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office said a family friend tried to get him out of the water using a ladder but was unsuccessful.
According to Forsyth deputies, neighbors took over a boat to Thomas and another person jumped in the water to help him. That person described to officials a burning sensation he recognized as an electric shock.
He reportedly swarm ashore, turned off the power box, and went back into the water, ultimately pulling Thomas onto the dock.
Thomas’ uncle tried performing life-saving measures until medical responders arrived. Thomas was taken to Northside Forsyth Hospital, where he later died.
The investigation remains ongoing.
