From WSB TV…
Two brothers accused of shooting a man to death in Gainesville on Wednesday are now facing multiple charges, including murder.
The investigation led to the arrest of Jamarco Patton, 16, and Syn’sere Antrell Deshaun Patton, 17, both of Gainesville.
The duo allegedly shot and killed Christopher Dixon, 25, of Gainesville, near the 1300 block of Brown Street off Old Athens Road on the morning of Nov. 9.
Dixon was shot in the chest and was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
At first, deputies said they were informed that two men involved in a shooting had barricaded themselves in an apartment at the J Building of the Harrison Square complex on Athens Street.
Hall County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team went inside the apartment, but did not find any sign of the suspects. Investigators then started to follow up on leads as they continued to search for the pair.
The men turned themselves in to HCSO investigators in the Atlanta area where they were being tracked since the murder occurred.
Syn’sere Patton was booked into the Hall County Jail, and Jamarco Patton is in custody at the Regional Youth Detention Center (RYDC) in Gainesville.
They are both being charged as an adult with felony murder, aggravated battery and aggravated assault.
Both men are being held without bond.
Deputies have yet to determine a motive for the shooting.
