Suspect, victim named in deadly Barrow Co shooting

We have this morning the names of the husband and wife from Statham: the husband—50 year-old Darrin Russell—is charged in the shooting of his wife Dorothy. She was 51. She was killed in the parking lot of an Ingles grocery store in Auburn. He was arrested by Barrow County Sheriff's deputies about an hour after the shooting, which happened around 5 o'clock this past Friday afternoon. There is no word on a motive, though witnesses tell investigators the two appeared to be involved in some sort of domestic dispute.

The GBI is in on the ongoing investigation.
