ATLANTA, Ga. — We’re tracking rain showers and the potential for storms in north Georgia Friday.
Officials with Oconee County Schools posted a statement to social media Friday confirming the showers and storms could impact the graduation ceremony for North Oconee High School.
We are closely monitoring the weather and will make a decision regarding tonight's graduation ceremony no later than 5 p.m. Information will be emailed to graduates and posted on social media. Experts forecast the severe weather risk could increase overnight and into Saturday.

- Rain with embedded isolated strong and severe storms possible: damaging wind gusts, hail (brief tornado risk should stay to our south)
