Seven more people have been arrested in a months-long GBI investigation centered on heroin and methamphetamine sales across northeast Georgia.
The latest arrests bring the number of people charged in the 11-month operation to 55.
The GBI announced last week that it partnered with the FBI and local law enforcement agencies to arrest four dozen suspects and seize more than $700,000 worth of illegal drugs.
Suspects were arrested in counties that included Hall, Lumpkin, and Forysth.
