A second teenager is arrested and charged in an Athens homicide: 18 year-old Janiya Moore is in the Athens-Clarke County jail, looking at counts that include murder and evidence tampering in the May 27 shooting of Cameron Manago, who was shot and killed at the Rolling Ridge Apartments on Rolling Ridge Drive in Athens. 16 year-old Zyquavious Thomas was arrested shortly after the Manago murder.
From the ACCPD… On June 14th, 2024, after further investigation, Athens-Clarke County Police, with assistance from Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, arrested Janiya Moore, 18, Athens, in connection with the May 27th fatal shooting of Cameron Manago. Moore has been charged with Felony Murder and Tampering with Evidence.
