Search underway for 23-year-old Georgia woman wanted for murdering her infant daughter

ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga. — A search is underway for a 23-year-old woman who is accused of murdering her infant daughter.

According to the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office, Gloria Wright is accused of murdering her 1-year-old daughter.

Officials say on Jan. 8, the RCSO responded to a call of a person not breathing. When they arrived, they discovered the person not breathing was a 1-year-old child.

Wright faces murder in the first degree and cruelty to children in the first degree charges.

Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office officials have asked for the public’s help locating Wright.
