Recall of tortilla strips issued by FDA

The Food and Drug Administration has issued a recall alert for tortilla strips made in Georgia. The fresh gourmet tortilla strips, Santa Fe style are made by Sugar Foods in Villa Rica.

Officials say the product is contaminated with wheat which is dangerous for those with wheat allergies. The company says it hasn’t received any reports of people getting sick.
