GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Gwinnett County Police arrested a 26-year-old man who is accused of murdering a woman inside her Gwinnett County apartment on Friday.
Officers responded to 1200 Hunters Club Lane in Norcross after reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers found a 24-year-old woman identified as Ana Karen Ramos Hernandez.
According to Gwinnett County police, Kurt Sebastian Omana Torres was identified as a suspect who is accused of murdering Hernandez. According to police, “preliminary information indicates this was a domestic-related incident between the deceased female and a known individual.”
Police have issued arrest warrants for Torres for malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony.
Police said Torres will be taken to Gwinnett County jail.
