GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — The investigation of a fatal accident shut down lanes of Buford Highway in Gwinnett County this morning. A pedestrian was struck and killed in the roadway just north of Old Norcross Road around 8 a.m.

The driver called 911 and remained on scene as officers conducted their investigation.

We are told there will be no charges against the driver at this time.
