The world’s fastest high-speed bicycle racers will bring their talents to the streets in and around downtown Athens later this month. Twilight Criterium weekend is set for April 29-30.

The Twilight returns to Spring as the World’s best criterium teams get set to race America’s iconic eco-urban bicycle race, the Athens Orthopedic Clinic Twilight Criterium presented by Michelob Ultra.
Initial teams to attend include:
● Team TWENTY24 (pro women’s team) – Featuring Tokyo Olympic gold medalist, Jennifer Valente, Team TWENTY24 is a dynamic and diverse team of professional athletes and eSports athletes with the only integrated junior program of its kind—women, girls, mentors, and role models. www.teamtwenty24.com
● Team Medellin-EPM (pro men’s team) – From Medellin, Colombia, Team Medellin-EPM features six outstanding cyclists, including former U-23 world road champion, Fabio Duarte and former Tour de France Best Young Rider, Oscar Sevilla. www.teammedellin.co
● Team Colavita/HelloFresh (pro women’s team) – Featuring Tina Pic, former Athens resident, 6-Time U.S. criterium champion, and 3-time Twilight winner, Team Colavita/HelloFresh is the longest-standing professional women’s cycling team. www.teamcolavita.com
● Best Buddies Racing (pro men’s team) – Best Buddies Racing features a host of the best criterium cyclists including Danny Estevez, former national criterium champion, and team manager, Thomas Craven, the 1994 Twilight men’s professional race winner, and their primary goal is to bring attention to those left behind due to intellectual and developmental disabilities on behalf of Best Buddies International. www.bestbuddiesracing.org.
About the Athens Orthopedic Clinic Twilight – Started in 1980, the Twilight was America’s first nighttime bicycle race since the 1920′s.
