We have this morning the names of the two people killed in Wednesday’s plane crash in Oconee County: Robert and Sandra Denton were from Michigan. The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash, which happened off Government Station Road near Watkinsville. Their small plane was heading for a landing at Winder-Barrow Airport after taking off from the Leesburg Florida.

The FAA report on the crash reported it was a Cessna 177, a single-engine plane. Two people were on board, according to the FAA’s report.

The NTSB and FAA are investigating the crash.
