It’s a top honor for two schools in Oconee County: US News and World Report magazine, in its latest ratings, ranks Oconee County and North Oconee high schools as tops in northeast Georgia, in the top 30 in the state, and in the top one thousand nationally.
From Oconee Co Schools…
North Oconee & Oconee County were named Monday as U.S. News Best High Schools. NOHS & OCHS ranked Nos. 1 & 2 in Northeast Georgia, Nos. 23 & 27 in Georgia, & Nos. 782 & 961 in the United States, respectively. Those national figures rank among the top 5.5 percent.
