Athens-Clarke County Police have released an updated photograph of a rape suspect: police were, at last report, still searching for Dionicio Guadarrama. He’s 19 years old, from Franklin County, and is one of two men wanted for the reported rape of a University of Georgia student. The 20 year-old woman tells police she was sexually assaulted after getting into a car with the two men. The car was in the North Campus parking deck. The car believed linked to the case has been recovered.

On February 25, 2020, ACCPD investigators obtained warrants for Dionicio Guadarrama, 19 of Carnesville, GA, for Rape, Aggravated Sexual Battery, and Sexual Battery.
The ACCPD is actively searching for Guadarrama; he may have fled the area. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Guadarrama should contact the Athens-Clarke County Police Department at 706-546-5900 or call 9-1-1.
