The Athens-based Northeast Georgia Regional Commission is looking for public input on a Regional Transit Development Plan. Feedback can be provided via the Commission website, using an online form that will be up through November 10.
From the NE Ga Regional Commission…
The Regional TDP will help identify transit needs and opportunities and inform future transit system investments across the 12 counties making up the Northeast Georgia Region. The TDP will allow the NEGRC to pool resources and staff, create plans to consider regional needs and travel patterns, focus on local transportation issues and concerns, and identify implementable transit projects. For more information about GDOT’s Regional TDP initiative, visit the Home Page.
