The Coroner in Lincoln County has released the names of three siblings—two of them children--who drowned in a northeast Georgia lake late last week: Raven Powell was 22 years old, Mason Powell was 4, and Sawyer Powell was 3. The GBI has joined the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and the state Department of Natural Resources in investigating the drownings that happened in Clarks Hill Lake.

Lincoln County Sheriff Paul Reviere confirmed to WJBF in Augusta that three siblings drowned in the Amity Recreation Area on Clarks Hill Lake.
The youngest victims were just four and three years old.
Lincoln County coroner Tim Quarles released the names of the victims to WJBF and WRDW-TV. He identified them as: Raven Powell, 22; Mason Powell, 4; and Sawyer Powell, 3.
WRDW-TV reports that all of the bodies have been recovered. Quarles told the station that the siblings died sometime after 5 p.m.
The sheriff’s office is working with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
