The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a dense fog advisory for the Athens area. There is also the possibility of river flooding brought on by heavy rain over the past several days, rain that is forecast to continue today and tomorrow and for part of the day Sunday. There is the chance for more thunderstorms through Saturday.
