Athens Mayor Kelly Girtz holds another in his weekly series of coronavirus streaming sessions, on-line on the Athens-Clarke County YouTube channel and live on WGAU, starting at 6 o'clock this evening. The Mayor will be joined tonight by Dr. Suzanne Lester from the Augusta University-UGA Medical Partnership, Dr. Whitney Howell, Clinical Director for the Northeast Health District, and Athens-Clarke County Commissioner Ovita Thornton.

Join Athens-Clarke County Mayor Kelly Girtz live on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:00 p.m. as he virtually discusses local COVID-19 responses with local staff and community members each week.
The sixth conversation takes place on Wednesday, May 27 at 6:00 p.m. with Dr. Suzanne Lester from the AU UGA Medical Partnership / Mobile Health Clinic, Dr. Whitney Howell, Clinical Director for the Northeast Health District (Georgia Public Health District 10), and Commissioner Ovita Thornton..
The first 30 minutes of each conversation will be a discussion and presentation, while the second 30 minutes will be a Q&A session in which Mayor Girtz will ask and answer questions with his guests related to that week’s topic.
