Kevin Harrison will serve a life sentence: the Barrow County man was convicted of killing his wife. 29 year-old Heather Harrison was shot and killed in February of last year at the couple's home in Bethlehem. The Barrow County Sheriff's Office says the deadly shooting happened after a domestic dispute between the husband and wife.
A 28 year-old Loganville woman is arrested on theft charges in Barrow County: Nikki Shelton is accused of stealing from the First United Methodist Church in Bethlehem. Shelton worked as finance director for the church.
Three people—two from Gainesville and one from Lawrenceville—are arrested on drug charges. The Hall County Sheriff’s Office says charges include possession of methamphetamine and prescription painkillers. 22 year-old Cynthia Lloyd, 26 year-old Harlie Smith, and 23 year-old Jhenna Zane were all booked into the Hall County jail.
