There is a meeting of the Board of Directors today in Athens: the Board of the University of Georgia Research Foundation holds its spring meeting this afternoon at the Georgia Center.
There is a reminder from City Hall that today and tomorrow are the last two days to apply to fill an open seat on the Athens Cultural Affairs Commission: applications can be submitted on line at the Athens-Clarke County government website.
Wednesday was the last day for daily reporting of coronavirus cases on the Georgia Department of Public Health website: it shows a low rate of positive tests for COVID 19 in Athens, just 63 cases reported over the past two weeks. The Department will begin providing weekly updates for Athens-Clarke and other counties around the state.
