Illinois woman charged in Hall Co crash

An Illinois woman faces charges after a deadly motorcycle crash in Hall County: Christine Kicklighter is 66 years old, from Belleville Illinois. Charges include vehicular homicide. She was driving the SUV that hit a motorcycle at an entrance ramp at I-985. Jeffrey Ryscamp was on the Harley Davidson; he died after being taken to the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville. Ryscamp was 57 years old, from Hoschton.

The wreck took place just after 8:15 p.m. March 11 as Kicklighter drove a 2004 Toyota 4 Runner on Candler Road, according to a GSP incident report. She allegedly failed to yield while turning left onto the I-985 North entrance ramp, entering the path of a 2018 Harley Davidson Street Glide.

The ensuing wreck injured Jeffery Ryscamp, 57, of Hoschton, who later died at a hospital, GSP said.

Kicklighter was booked into jail before being released on a $38,700 bond, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
