Holiday travel to reach its peak Friday at Atlanta airport

ATLANTA, GA — Officials at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport expect holiday travel to reach a peak tomorrow.

On Friday, December 27, 327,724 passengers are estimated to pass through the airport.

While travel for Christmas, Hanukkah and New Year’s is more spread out, this date in the middle of the holidays brings the most traffic through the world’s busiest airport.
