University of Georgia gymnastics head coach Courtney Kupets Carter has announced the GymDogs’ slate of meets for the upcoming 2024 schedule. With numerous new faces on the roster for this season, the GymDogs are preparing strong for a successful 2024 campaign.
“We are in the gym working towards our goals for the 2024 season and we are ready to Elevate,” Kupets Carter said. “The team is ready to do big things this year. They’re confident in themselves knowing what they can do. We have great senior leadership, and freshmen with a lot of talent and enthusiasm to get started. We’re already looking forward to our season opener in Stegeman Coliseum.” The first event of the year will be the annual “First Look”, held in Stegeman Coliseum on Saturday, December 9 at 4:00 p.m.
The 10-meet schedule features two non-conference opponents, a podium meet, and all seven conference foes. Six opponents appeared in NCAA Regional Finals and three advanced to nationals in 2023.
