The Georgia Department of Transportation announces plans for a $10.8 million road resurfacing project in Athens: the DOT says the repaving of a 12-mile stretch on the Highway 10 Loop is expected to be finished by the end of the year.
A DOT project in Habersham County checks in at $1.3 million and will begin just north of State Route 17 and extend to north of State Route 15. The 5.4-mile project is also expected to be finished by year's end.
