The building that houses the Franklin County Health Department is now closed for a renovation that is expected to be completed in October. Services offered by the center in Carnesville have been farmed out to other locations, including the Franklin County School Board offices and the headquarters of the Franklin County Historical Society. Other services are being provided by the Hart County Health Department in Hartwell.
