Eatonton officer charged in wife’s murder

Channel 2 Action News has learned an Eatonton police officer was arrested Wednesday, accused of murdering his wife.

Channel 2 investigative reporter Mark Winne broke the news on Twitter late Wednesday night.

Putnam County Sheriff Howard Sills told Winne he arrested Officer Michael Seth Perrault in connection with the murder of Perrault’s wife.

Perrault allegedly reported her death as a suicide, according to Sills.
