The East Athens Educational Dance Center presents its annual production of “Dancing through Light” at 7:00 PM on Saturday, February 24th, 2024 and 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 25th. This Annual performance is a family tradition and a favorite performance in the Athens community. This performance will pay a special tribute to the Legacy of Lois Thomas Ewings, the late founding Facility Supervisor of EAEDC.
“Dancing through Light” is a showcase of dance highlighting the gifted students enrolled in East Athens Educational Dance Center’s Accelerated Programs. Featuring ballet, modern, tap, African and contemporary dance; dancers will perform choreography that will inspire and uplift. The performance will include students from age 7 to young adults and professionals performing at a high level of expertise.
Public performances are scheduled for Saturday, February 24th 7:00 PM and Sunday February 25th 3:00 PM. All performances take place at the Morton Theatre 195 W. Washington Street, Athens GA 30601. Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 the day of the show (pending availability). Group tickets are available.
