The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Department is looking for public input on plans for Dudley Park: a forum is set for 6 o’clock this evening at the park on the eastern edge of downtown Athens. Revisions to the Park Master Plan are being funded by Athens-Clarke County sales tax dollars.
A public information session is set for 6:30 at the Banks County courthouse annex in Homer: city officials from Homer, Alto, and Baldwin will be on hand, along with representatives from Lula and Maysville. They’ll talk about plans for a transportation sales tax, a TSPLOST designed to raise an estimate $15 million.
