Issaquah, Washington — Costco announced this week that it was raising pay for most of its hourly US workers following contract talks with union employees.
Costco employees at the top of the pay scale will see their pay rise to $30.20 per hour, with additional one-dollar increases coming in each of the next two years.
Workers at the bottom of the pay scale will be paid $20 per hour which includes employees at non-union locations.
The 2025 Employee Agreement also includes:
- Increase of bottom-of-scale by 50 cents
- Increase the supervisor premium from $1.50 to $2.00
- An additional week of vacation after 30 years of employment
- Vacation for new employees during their first year
In the memo, Costco thanked employees and stated, “We believe our employees are the very best in the retail industry. Very simply, you are the main reason for the great success of our company.”
