Classical Center Cultural Foundation looks to award scholarships

The Classic Center and its Cultural Foundation is looking for applications for scholarships that will be awarded for performing and visual arts. $60 thousand will go to students in a region that includes Athens-Clarke and 16 other counties across northeast Georgia. The Classic Center Cultural Foundation is now accepting applications for the performing arts and visual arts scholarship. Applications are open to 9th through 12th-grade high school students living in the Northeast Georgia region.

Students interested in applying should visit ClassicCenter.com/Scholarships or email Foundation@ClassicCenter.com. Scholarships will be awarded based on an application and audition or interview process. The deadline to apply for the performing arts and visual arts scholarship is March 1, 2024.

Each year, The Classic Center Cultural Foundation provides up to $30,000 in annual hospitality education, performing arts, and visual arts scholarships to talented high school students. The available visual arts scholarship funding is brought to you in part by The Ann and Jack Crowley Scholarship Fund for the Visual Arts.

Counties that are eligible for The Classic Center Cultural Foundation’s performing arts and visual arts scholarships are Athens-Clarke, Banks, Barrow, Elbert, Franklin, Greene, Habersham, Hart, Jackson, Madison, Morgan, Oconee, Oglethorpe, Rabun, Stephens, Walton, and White.

The Classic Center Cultural Foundation grants a total of $60,000 in annual hospitality education, performing, and visual arts scholarships throughout the year.
