Clarke County Sheriff John Q. Williams says he will launch his campaign for reelection this coming weekend, with a Saturday rally at the Winterville Community Center. Williams has already drawn election-year opposition: Tommy Dorsey in the Clarke County School District Police Department says he will run against Williams, who is seeking a second term in the Sheriff’s Office he won four years ago.

We’re having our campaign launch event at the Winterville Cultural Center (371 N Church St, Winterville, GA 30683), where Sheriff John Q. Williams will publicly announce his re-election campaign. Guest speakers will also be present.
Sheriff Williams and his campaign team will be available for interviews. Expect a press release regarding the re-election campaign later this week, following an official announcement on social media.
