Campus notes: Police Chief meets with students today, Spring Engagement Fair tonight

Erik Atkinson, the dean of students at the University of Georgia, and Jeff Clark, Chief of the campus police department, meet with UGA students this morning: they will be in the Tate Student Center from 9:30 til 11:30.

The director of University Relations for the Georgia Department of Public Health will deliver the University of Georgia’s annual Mary France Early Lecture, an address named in honor of UGA’s first black graduate. Yvette Daniels is set to speak on February 2.

The University of Georgia’s Spring Engagement Fair is set for 7 o’clock tonight in the University’s Tate Student Center. More than 200 student organizations will take part.

There is music this evening in Athens: violin sonatas will be featured in the Beethoven Festival that is set for 7:30 in the University of Georgia’s Edge Hall.
