Campus notes include majors fair at UGA, Deal speech at Brenau

There is an afternoon meeting of the Executive Committee of the University of Georgia’s Staff Council, the first of the new fall semester. UGA says the 2:30 session will be virtual.

UGA’s Division of Student Affairs hosts tonight’s Fall Engagement Fair, starting at 7 and lasting til 9 in the University of Georgia’s Tate Student Center. The University says more than two hundred student organizations will have representatives on hand.

Former Georgia Congressman and Governor Nathan Deal speaks in his hometown of Gainesville this evening: Deal delivers a 7 o’clock guest lecture at Brenau University, helping the University’s Learning and Leisure Institute mark its 30th anniversary.
