Brenau names new VP for student development and engagement

Brenau University names a new vice president for student development and engagement: Dr. Whitney McDowell-Robinson comes to Gainesville from Tougaloo College in Mississippi.

Brenau University has hired Whitney McDowell-Robinson, Ph.D., as student development and engagement vice president. She arrived at Brenau in mid-June. McDowell-Robinson comes to Brenau from Tougaloo College in Tougaloo, Mississippi, where she has served students in various roles since 2014, most recently as vice president for enrollment management and student services.

She has a Ph.D. in urban higher education from Jackson State University, a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Jackson State University, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Tougaloo College.
