Athens state Rep Spencer Frye was among the House Democrats who abstained from a vote on a resolution condemning Hamas for its deadly attacks on Israel. The measure, pushed by House Republicans, passed by a vote of 129-2. The vote took place in a special session dealing with legislative and congressional redistricting. That session continues today beneath the Gold Dome in Atlanta.
