Deputies are currently in the area of 332 Terrace Ln in Lexington looking for a black male wearing a red shirt and blue shorts. His name is Terrell Meadows. He fled a warrant attempt for charges out of Clarke County and has a history of violence. If you see him do not approach and call 911.

We have conducted a thorough search of the area with two K-9 teams and a Georgia State Patrol helicopter using thermal cameras. Either he has left the area or has won this round of hide and seek. I hope this experience has left him feeling the right amount of unwelcome and he either returns to Athens or does the right thing and turns himself in to answer for his crimes.

The description again was black male wearing red shirt , blue shorts and no shoes.

If you should see him call 911. We feel there is a very good chance he has left our county. If not we will make every effort to apprehend him should he be so foolish to use our community to continue to hide out.
