The Athens-Clarke County Board of Elections begins today the testing of voting equipment that will be used in the elections that culminate six weeks from today. Logic and Accuracy testing takes place at the Athens-Clarke County Facilities and Landscape Management Building on Lexington Road. The testing that begins at 9 this morning is open to the public.

The Athens-Clarke County Board of Elections will conduct a Logic and Accuracy Test on all voting equipment that will be used in the upcoming November 8th General Primary Election.
Per O.C.G.A. § 21-2-379.25, the testing will begin on Tuesday, September 27 at 9:00 a.m. at the Athens-Clarke County Facilities and Landscape Management Building located at 2555 Lexington Road, Athens, Georgia, 30605 and will continue until all units have been tested and proven accurate. Testing will run from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. each day until completion.
The voter registration deadline for the November 8, 2022 General Election is Tuesday, October 11, 2022. Early voting will begin at 8am on Monday, October 17 at the Elections Office located at 155 East Washington St., Athens GA 30601.
