Area briefs: UGA alum wins big on Jeopardy, DOT finishes bridge in Banks Co

A University of Georgia graduate wins a half-million dollars on Jeopardy: Marietta native Victoria Groce won the Jeopardy Masters tournament that aired this past week.

A man who worked as a coach in Barrow and Walton counties is arrested on child sex charges in Gwinnett County: Gwinnett Police say the charges against 31 year-old Charles Moore of Snellville stem from an incident said to have involved a 16 year-old girl in Loganville.
